What is the price of a weekly pass?: $30.00 per person
Is there a partial week or two day pass that I can purchase?: No. The only reduced pass available is for the entire week.
Can the weekly pass be purchased before the fair begins?: No. Weekly passes can be purchased on Sunday from 12:00 noon until 6:00 PM and all day on Monday.
Are there any other specials on the rides during the fair?: Yes. The first 200 riders to purchase wrist bands on week nights will receive a free item at the fair.
Tuesday - RAKESTRAW Ice Cream Cone at Packer's Stand
Thursday - PEPSI and PEPSI Souvenir Night at Packer's Stand.
Can I bring my pet to the fair?: No. The only animals permitted at the fair are the exhibit animals and those trained to assist persons with disabilities, such as seeing eye dogs. One exception to this rule, is when the fair has a Pet Parade, then pets are welcome just for that event.
Do I need to pre-register for contests before the fair begins?: No. Contests include Tractor Pulls, Mountain Man, Youth Driving Contest, etc.
Must I pre-register my exhibits before the fair begins?: Yes. All exhibits must be pre-registered by July 11, 2008.
Can I bring more items to the fair after I’ve already registered.: No.
Do I need more than one registration number if I participate in more than one department?: No. One registration numbers covers all departments and contests in the fair except group contests. Groups do require a separate number from individuals.
Do you cancel events when it rains?: Sometimes – listen to local radio stations for cancellations: B98 Big County Radio and WQKX FM.
What if I can not pick up my check and exhibit items on Saturday night?: Those who do not pick up their items on Saturday night will need to contact Diane Shuck (966-4661) or Idella Zimmerman (966-1340) within 30 days. After 30 days, the items will be stored in the fair office and can be picked up the following year.
How can I get a copy of the premium book each year?: The premium book will be available on the website after it is printed. In addition, you can get a book at any of the following:
